Introduction
As Cathaoirleach of
Coiste na n-Óg, Cumannn An t-Athar Ó’Néill,
I extend a Céad Míle Fáilte to you on your
visit to our Web-Site.
The site hopes to keep you informed about
all the happenings in our club, particularly in the club’s
fixtures and results, but we must warn you that fixtures are changeable
at very short notice and care must be taken.
Initally
it will take a lot of time for pages to open due to the large quantity
of graphics and photographs, but the more often you use the site,
the faster it will be to open each page.

Fr O'Neills Juvenile
GAA Club was founded in the early 1970's and won it's first competition
when defeating Erins Own in an U14 hurling competition in 1971.
Bonfires blazed in Ballymacoda & Ladysbridge as Eddie O'Leary
brought "The Tom Powell Cup" to the parish. Since then
the club has gone from strength to strength, culminating with the
capture of the club's first County Title in Fe-14 'B' Peil and the
club's first Divisional 'A' title when winning the Fe-13 East Cork
Football title in 2004.
Today the club caters
for over 140 juveniles from Fe-8 to Fe-16 in both Hurling &
Football at all grades and with a solid backroom team, continues
to strive for honours at all levels

The Fr O'Neills Fe-14 Hurling Team 1971, which captured The Tom Powell Cup for Fe-14 East Cork Hurling, when defeating an Erins Own team in Rostellan. This was the first Juvenile title for the club.

"Where
do we come from - Where do we come from"
Fr O'Neills club encompasses
the parish of Ladysbridge & Ballymacoda, which lies in East
Cork (Barony of Imokilly) between the towns of Midleton and Youghal.
To the north it is Bounded by the river Womanagh, while to the south
lies the coastline which joins Ballycotton to Youghal. Ladysbridge
village lies to the west of the parish which extends eastward through
Ballymacoda village, continuing onwards to Knockadoon Head and Cable
Island. |
