Intermediate Hurling Team travel to Scotland -      18th-21th August

A selection of pictures taken at the recent Fr. O'Neills Hurling Trip to Kingussie, Scotland.

As a reward for winning All-Ireland Hurling titles at Junior & Intermediate levels, O'Neills and Dicksboro (Kilkenny) were respectively invited by the GAA to represent Ireland at the "Celtic Cup" hurling /shinty tournament. Held in the 'Highlands' and Gaelic speaking region of Scotland, both Irish representitives based themselves in the village of Kingussie, where O'Neills played Strathglass followed by the meeting of Dicksboro and Kingussie at their shinty venue, The Dell. O'Neills were defeated by 28 to 16, while Dicksboro suffered a similiar fate by a margin of 18 to 11.

20 players along with 18 mentors/officers/sponsors and supporters travelled for the occasion and below is a selection of photographs from the trip, with thanks to Pa Dunne for same.
